Zo's Midnite Magic is the"heirloom seed" of Dexter heifers. She is out of the historic Woodmagic bloodline developed in England. These cattle are known for their short stature, classic conformation and do not carry the gene for chondrodysplasia. Other classic Dexters in her pedigree include Trillium Cluny, Aldebaran Priapus, and Cranworth Pilliwiggin. Magic is an AI (artificial insemination) calf sired by Woodmagic Hedgehog III and our classic old dexter cow named Zodiac's Pbar Arkansa. PBar is the prototypical classic Dexter-i.e. short, white horns with black tips, black coat and long muzzle. Magic's dam was officially classified by ADCA. The top score is 90-94, which is listed as excellent. Zodiac's PBar Arkansa scored an astounding 96! .
